Free Shopify store audit, back in two business days

Send us your store URL. We go through your site, your email, your ads, and your search presence from the outside, then send back a recorded walkthrough of the three things we would fix first and what each one is worth.

We need access to nothing. There is no Shopify login to hand over, no Klaviyo, and no ad account. Everything we look at is already public or one email signup away.

What arrives

Here is what lands in your inbox in two business days.

01
Three findings

Ranked by what they are worth, not by what is easiest to say.

02
The cost of each

What is wrong, roughly what it is costing you, and what fixing it involves.

03
A recorded video

Walking through your store, showing where we found each thing. Usually eight to twelve minutes.

04
A call, if you want one

Plenty of people watch the video and never book the call. That is a fine outcome.

The shape of it

What a finding looks like

illustrative figures

This is the shape of every finding, using the one we hit most often.

Finding 01 of 03 Category search, buying intent

Your store ranks for 340 keywords. The three brands sitting above you on your main product searches rank for an average of 1,900. Twelve of the terms all three of them rank for and you do not are category searches with buying intent, worth about 2,400 searches a month between them.

At your conversion rate and your average order value, that traffic is worth roughly $12,000 a year. Most of it needs collection page structure and product page copy rather than new content, which is four weeks of work and no new ad spend.

1 of 3 findings shown

You get that, twice more, for the two other things we find.

All from the outside

What we look at

Four places, none of which need a password.

Your site

Speed, product pages, the path from landing to checkout, and what a first-time visitor sees.

Your email

We sign up and we abandon a cart, so we see what actually fires in the first forty-eight hours and what does not fire at all.

Your ads

Whatever is running shows in the Meta Ad Library, so we look at the creative and the offers.

Your search presence

What you rank for, what you should rank for, and whether you come up when someone asks an assistant for a recommendation in your category.

Order of operations

The video comes first

You have the three findings, the numbers, and the walkthrough in your inbox before any conversation happens.

The call is there if you want to ask questions. A fair number of people watch the video and that is where it ends. If you take the list to whoever runs your marketing, it works as well from them as from us.

When a finding is small, we say it is small. The point is the ranking, so you know which one to do first.

The catch

Why this is free

Because showing is faster than explaining. You learn more from watching us go through your store than from another page about how we think.

It also means you see the work before any money changes hands. These are the same findings we would open a paid engagement with, so if you do hire us, day one is already done.

Capacity

Jimmy runs these himself rather than handing them to a contractor. That caps how many we take in a week. If the week is full when yours arrives, we send you a date rather than miss the two days.

What does a Shopify store audit cover?

A Shopify store audit is a review of what is working and what is losing money across the site, the email program, the ads, and the search presence. Ours is done from the outside, using the public site, a real email signup, the Meta Ad Library, and search data. It produces three ranked findings with a dollar figure attached to each.

What do I have to give you?

Your store URL and an email address. There is no account access, no login sharing, and no permissions to grant. If we cannot see it from the outside, it does not go in the audit.

How much of my time does this take?

About a minute to send the form. The call is thirty minutes if you take it, and it is optional.

Is the call required?

No. The video is sent first and it stands on its own. The call exists for questions, and a fair number of people never book it.

My store is under $1M. Is this still worth doing?

Yes, and it is the main reason this is free. A retainer usually is not the right move at that size, and we will say so rather than sell you one. The findings are yours either way.

What if I already have an agency?

Send it anyway. If the three things we find are already on their roadmap, that tells you something good about them. If nobody has mentioned any of it, that tells you something too.

If the audit finds something you want fixed now
The Sprint

One channel, a bounded scope, and a defined end. Three to four weeks. The default build is the email first win, meaning a flow audit, four flows built or rebuilt, a campaign calendar, and a handoff report you keep.

Start a retainer within 30 days and the Sprint counts as your setup fee in full.
